JoDoIndia collects only the information required to operate a local business and professional directory. This includes Google account email/name for login, personal profile details provided by users, submitted business/professional listing details, login history tokens, IP address and browser user agent for security.

Information we collect

• Google login information: email, Google ID, name and profile photo.
• Personal profile data: first name, middle name, last name, DOB, marital status, city, area, pincode and occupation.
• Address data saved by the user.
• Favourite categories selected by the user.
• Business and professional listing information submitted for publication.
• Login history token, IP address and user agent to maintain secure sessions.

Public information

User profiles publicly show only username, joining date, first name and last name. Listing pages can show submitted business/professional contact details, location, website, social links, service details and map coordinates after admin approval.

Use of information

Data is used for account login, listing moderation, directory search, fraud prevention, user support and legal compliance. We do not sell personal profile data.

Cookies

We use secure login cookies to keep users signed in through the login_history token system.

Data deletion

Users may contact support@jodoindia.com to request account or listing deletion, subject to verification and legal retention requirements.
